MorumbiShopping and ShoppingAnáliaFranco occupy the first and third places in the Estadão Marcas Mais Survey in the shopping mall category. The two are part of the top 3 in the study, which seeks to identify the preferred brands of Brazilians.
Founded in 1982, MorumbiShopping has more than 500 stores, with a mix of leisure, entertainment, shopping and food service, and received more than 23 million visitors in 2018. Livia Francis, superintendent of the venture, tells us a bit about the evolution of the mall and the improvements that the inauguration brought to its surroundings: "We have been gradually evolving, we have undergone some renovations and extensions, and we have become a space with characteristics that go beyond purchases. We have been adapting to the new consumption patterns. We are a democratic mall, everyone is welcome," says the executive.
ShoppingAnáliaFranco is one of the forerunners in the eastern region and has been chosen by Época Magazine as the best shopping mall in the city. The venture has 402 stores, with a mix that helps consumers solve the most demands in a single location. Fabíola Soares, Superintendent of the Mall, underscored the importance of a full mix: "People seek the Mall for various reasons, shopping, services, to go to the bank and to attend events," says the executive.
In its fifth edition, the study, prepared by O Estado de S.Paulo newspaper in partnership with the TroianoBranding consulting firm, conducted a questionnaire with more than 12,000 consumers from around the country, analyzing 32 categories in different market segments.
